The Metro Tunnel Underneath Union Station

ABNA performed a 3D LIDAR scanning survey throughout the entirety of the Union Station Tunnel, obtaining information on tracks, overhead electric lines, columns, supports, and all other asset and infrastructure items in the tunnel. ABNA created 3D point clouds of the entire tunnel so that data could be referenced at a later date, as more information became required. This enabled ABNA to avoid repetitive field mobilizations. ABNA also performed an above ground survey to identify potential hazards during rehabilitation.
