Project Description
ABNA’s building inspectors, supervisors, and managers are presently coordinating the noise mitigation program between the City of St. Louis Airport Authority, the design team and the installation contractors; evaluating existing structures, preparing cost esti- mates, construction schedules and document controls; inspecting the installation process; developing and maintaining a project information system; and assisting in the development of the Field Inspector Training Procedures. Typical extent of project included replacement of windows, doors and HVAC units for buildings in addition to historic building rehabilitation within the noise m itiga- tion corridor. Documentation included monitoring contractor specification compliance, maintaining a written daily log identifying personnel and equipment on-site and taking construction progress photographs as the work progressed.
