Project Description
The Chicago Midway Airport Bridge Inspections entail the inspection of 15 structures and bridges. The structures include Cicero Avenue Flyover Bridge to Upper and Lower level roadway, Midway Airport upper level roadway entrance bridge, re- circulation ramp, roadway, exit ramps, parking structures, pedestrian bridge, and storm water detention structure. ABNA supported Epstein with structural integrity inspections of the upper level roadways. The task included detailed reports de- scribing the conditions of the bridges, structures, and roadways. Several of the inspections were performed at night when the traffic volume is low- er to provide additional safety measures for the inspectors and minimize traffic disruptions.
