Project Description
For the City of Chicago, O’Hare Modernization Program (OMP) expansion improvements at the O’Hare International Airport (ORD). ABNA led the design and construction improvements for O’Hare’s Northeast Cargo Development 108” infrastructure pipe. ABNA provided design for a major infrastructure pipe for the northeast cargo area of the airport, consisting of type I, Class IV, rein- forced concrete pipe with a diameter of 108.” The design included dewatering means, temporary earth retention, junction chamber, existing demolition, and associated Storm and sewer lines with pipe airport underdrains, manholes and catch basins. ABNA prepared preliminary and final plans, specifications, and engi- neer’s estimates and managed the overall schedule of each sub-consultants’ project segment.
